SOUND HISTORY

A Chronicle of Growth and Industry Leadership

The Beginning with Bernie

MBI Products’ heritage of acoustics innovation began in 1965. At that time Metal Building Interior Products Company (now called MBI Products, Inc.) boasted 3 employees, one of which would go on to be the Governor of the State of Ohio. MBI Founder and President, Bernie Zarnick, committed himself to delivering highly effective products at a fair price with superior service.

Continuing the MBI Family Legacy

After Bernie Zarnick passed away in 1999, son-in-law, Cree Kysela took over as President. Through 5 decades, MBI has remained at the forefront of the industry, proudly carrying on Bernie’s vision and legacy with continued family leadership into its third generation.
